Merging Customer Records

To merge customer records you need to make sure you merge them in 2 places: Netsuite and the admin portal.

Netsuite

On the customer edit view there is a merge button that is enabled for the role "Sales Person | Dashboard"

Click on Merge button, and it should open the Merge view. Note: you want to click on the merge button on the customer to be merged (slave), On the merge view you should select the customer to merge into (master).

Click on Merge to merge the slave into the master. Once you do so, REMEMBER TO UPDATE MYDW Netsuite Customer ID in the Admin portal!

Admin Portal

Once the customer is merged in the admin portal you need to make sure there are no customers in MyDW with the Netsuite ID of a slave customer. To Update the customer Netsuite ID Go to Practices > "Customer" > Profile. Then hit Edit and Update the Netsuite ID field under general with the master netsuite ID, then click Save.

Note: that the Netsuite ID is the "CUSTOMER INTERNAL ID" in Netsuite NOT THE Customer ID.
